Midland Nannies have created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to protecting your privacy whenever personal information is requested from you. The following details the information that is gathered and how that information is used for both Nannies and Clients.

Information Automatically Logged

In general we gather about how people use our site and some information is automatically logged (i.e. number of visitors, date visited). This general information about all our visitors helps us to determine which parts of the site are most frequently visited and what services are used. This in turn is used to ensure that our site offers the best possible service and experience to all our visitors. Only general information (i.e. not personally identifiable) such as the total numbers of visitors is shared with other organisations.

Information Collected From Registration Forms

Our site's Application Forms require Clients and Nannies to provide contact information (such as name, email, and postal address), financial information (such as salary), unique identifiers (such as passport numbers) and demographic information (such as post code, age, or nationality).

As a Recruitment agency, personal and contact information from the Applications Forms are used to match potential Clients (employers) and Nannies (employees). This contact information is also used to get in touch with the client or Childcarer when necessary.

Disclosure of Information

We will not disclose any personal or contact information to any third parties except to the extent necessary to act as a Recruitment agency and then only where permission is granted through the submission of a completed registration form or other wise through written or verbal consent. Client Details and Nanny Details will be passed through to Midland Nannies to enable them to act on your behalf. Midland Nannies will ensure that your data is subject to the same protection and consideration as Midland Nannies.

Protection of Personal Information

We are committed to protecting all personal data and have in place various physical, electronic and managerial procedures in order to ensure correct use of data and to prevent unauthorised access. No personal data is held online on our webserver as the database of Clients and Nannies is off-line.

It is our intention to follow the strict procedures in the storage and disclosure of information in accordance with the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998.

All communication that is received by e-mail is not secure as it is routed via the internet, therefore if you wish to communicate directly via e-mail then it is with the express understanding that this is an in-secure communication mechanism.

Data Quality/Access/Opt-Out

This site gives users the following options for changing and modifying information previously provided. All requests should be followed up with either an e-mail or letter detailing the requested changes.
